Admission to Saint Peter’s College
The admission process differs by school and in some cases by program.
Undergraduate Studies
The College of Arts and Sciences / School of Business Administration (CAS/SBA), our day session, accepts traditional students into the College’s bachelor degree programs. Courses are offered at the Jersey City campus throughout the academic year. High school or college transfer students may visit the CAS/SBA Office of Admission for additional information.
The School of Professional and Continuing Studies (SPCS) was established to continue the College’s long tradition of providing a quality, liberal arts and business education to adult students. The SPCS prides itself on offering a variety of course schedules on evenings and weekends designed to meet the needs of today’s adult students. Courses are offered at both the Jersey City and Englewood Cliffs campuses and a variety of off-site locations for convenience. Visit the SPCS Office of Admission for information on admission to our bachelor degree, associate degree, and certification programs.
All undergraduate summer sessions are offered by the SPCS as well.
Graduate Studies
Offering master’s degree and certification programs at both campuses and a variety of off-site locations, Graduate Studies has designed its course schedules to meet the needs of adult students. Visit the Graduate Studies Office of Admission for information on the admission process.
Specialized Programs
Some programs, including Academic Success, Educational Opportunity Fund, Honors Program, Study Abroad, Summer Scholars, and Washington Center, have program-specific requirements for participation. Please see the Special Programs page for information on these opportunities.

Associate of Arts, Humanities or Social Sciences
The School of Professional and Continuing Studies (SPCS) offers the Associate of Arts degree for busy adults. It recognizes the full range of their abilities and uses a flexible format to allow them to complete the degree program. The student graduates with a foundation in the liberal arts and an understanding of other areas that shape our society and communities. A student must complete a minimum of 66 credits with distribution in the areas indicated.

Undergraduate Day Session (CAS/SBA)
Cost of Attendance: An annual estimate of direct and indirect expenses. This budget includes direct costs which are reflected on your bill such as tuition, mandatory fees, room and board, as well as indirect costs not reflected on your bill such as books, transportation and miscellaneous expenses for the academic year. Estimates of indirect cost are derived from the Department of Education. Your financial aid award package is based on the total Cost of Attendance.
